During the ceremony, the Quechua priest blesses the couple with coca leaves, flowers, water, and fire, and gives them sacred objects such as the chakana or Andean cross, the kero or ceremonial cup, and the chumpi or protective belt.

Andean Wedding – 1 Day

The Andean wedding is a way to celebrate the love and commitment of the couple in harmony with the wisdom and energy of the Andean ancestors. To experience this unique event, the couple must schedule the date in advance, from Monday to Saturday, as these ceremonies are not held on Sundays. In addition, the couple should arrive in Cusco at least one day before to meet with us and finalize the details of the program and the ritual. It is essential that you inform us of any special requirements, such as engagement or wedding rings, specific attire, dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, etc.), or any additional elements you wish to include (champagne, cake, etc.). We will take care of everything needed to make your Andean wedding a memorable occasion.

After the ceremony, local communities will share with you how they work with alpaca fiber and teach you about Inca culture. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy an eco-friendly totora reed raft and take photos at Piuray Lagoon.
