Terms and Conditions:

1. The contract

The contract is between the company MIT Viajes and the customer who hires the tour and will be operated by our company. When making the reservation by phone, website, email, fax or WhatsApp, it will only be valid when the customer sends the form (sent by our company) properly completed, along with a copy of the passport or ID (document that the customer will use to travel) and after, the sending of the proof of the minimum payment made for your tour. After all shipments, MIT Viajes undertakes to send an electronic proof to the customer’s email, which will contain all the customer’s data, as well as the contracted package, the minimum payment made and the remaining balance for payment in Cusco.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between the company and the customer in relation to the subject dealt with herein and will constitute a binding contract, there being no verbal or written representation, prior agreement or any other conditions or promises of reimbursement that are not expressed here. The service by our company will be fulfilled and provided according to the tourist package(s) or tour(s) mentioned in the booking confirmation.
The prudent time for hiring a tourist package is at least 30 days before your arrival in Peru, so we will have enough time to organize your trip properly. Otherwise, you will be subject to train schedules, buses, tours, etc., available for the moment.

2. Responsibilities of MIT Viajes

MIT Viajes is responsible for complying with the itinerary of the tourist package contracted by the customer and is solely responsible for the acts performed by our work staff (guías, cooks, porters and tourist agents).

2.2. Exemption from responsibilities from MIT Viajes

MIT Viajes, acts as an intermediary agent between tourist and tour operators, whether they are bus operators, trains, hotels, tickets and tickets, among other tourist companies. However, we have no control or responsibility for these companies in case of trips canceled for whatever reason, such as: vandalism, strikes, wars, government actions, weather and weather actions, flight delays, delays by companies operating in tourism or Any other factor involving additional costs, changes itinerary or any other causes.
MIT Viajes is not responsible for any adverse situations that may occur to our customers during their tour, such as: loss of personal belongings, problems with altitude, illness or illness (contagious or not), pregnancy, drunkenness, medication, consultations Medical, hospitalizations, physiotherapy, deaths, accidents in general that can cause physical or mental disabilities and that can endanger the life, health, integrity or safety of our client or third parties during the course of the contracted tour.
MIT Viajes, is not responsible for any extra cost that the customer may have, such as: food, drinks, extra transport (if the customer cannot or does not want to walk), taxis, tips, exchange of hotels, extra horses on some tours, Trains that are not in your package, tickets and tickets, bus tickets and planes between cities, etc. That is, any item that is not in the items “includes” of the customer’s tourist package.
Therefore, the company will not recognize any kind of claim or refund for the concepts mentioned above.

3. PRICES / PAYMENTS

All prices of our tour packages are expressed in US dollars and payments of both the minimum amount for contracting the package and the amount to be paid in Cusco, must be paid in that same currency.
The minimum payment of the package to be contracted must be made immediately when contracting the package and sent the receipt to the email of our company, so that we can validate the payment and send a receipt/electronic confirmation to the customer’s email. The rest of the payment must be made within 15 days before the trip or upon arrival in Cusco (in this case, the payment must be made in cash).

3.1. Minimum Payment Forms

The minimum payment can be made in the following ways: Cash shipment by Western Unión, payment via credit card, through PayPal or even bank transfer from your bank in Brazil to our bank in Perú.

3.1.2. amounts for booking prepayment

Trails and basic packages – $150 dollars per person: when hiring any of our trails or basic packages that understand the city of Cusco.
Trails and Special Packages – $250 per person: In case the package includes trails, packages with more than 10 days or tours that also include other cities in Peru.

4. Changes of contracted reservation dates

The change of date or month of your reservation will be possible, however, upon prior notice of 15 days before the trip and in this case, the payment of an administrative fine of $ 50.00 dollars per person, since, a few days away from the customer’s trip, our company will already have everything organized, paid and hired. In this case, the reservation will be treated as cancellation, as the tickets purchased on behalf of the customer are non-transferable and the customer will lose them, having to buy them again for the next chosen date.
No change from the contracted travel to the next year will be allowed.

5. Cancellation of the reservation by the company

MIT Viajes reserves the right to cancel/refuse any reservation at its discretion.

5.1. CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY CUSTOMER

MIT Viajes must be notified immediately in the event of cancellation of the booking by the customer. Reservations canceled 15 days in advance of the trip will not have refunds of any already paid by the customer. Reservations canceled 30 days in advance of the trip will be refunded 50% of the amount paid by the customer.
In the case of the Inca Classic Trail of 2 days and 1 night or 4 days and 3 nights, no amount already paid by the customer will be refunded, not even with a minimum date in advance.

6. Privacy Policy

The Company will pass on all the customer’s personal information to the providers and tour operators, in order to allow the services requested to function. The company will do everything possible and reasonable to protect the personal information of its customers.
The company will also be authorized to use photos and videos of its customers’ travels on its social networks.
