Typical itinerary for the Laguna Parón excursion (1 day):

Departure from Huaraz: The excursion usually starts very early, around 5 or 6 a.m., with pickup from your accommodation in Huaraz. From there, you will travel north of Huaraz by vehicle.

Starting point of the hike: After approximately 3 to 4 hours by car from Huaraz, you will arrive at the starting point for the hike to Laguna Parón. This point is generally at an altitude of around 4,200 meters (13,780 feet) above sea level.

Hike to Laguna Parón: You will begin the hike from the starting point, gradually ascending through a beautiful mountainous landscape. The hike is not as demanding as the trek to Laguna 69 and may take about 2 to 3 hours to reach Laguna Parón, which is located at an altitude of approximately 4,200 meters (13,780 feet).

Laguna Parón: Upon reaching Laguna Parón, you will be amazed by its spectacular beauty and turquoise waters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You will have time to explore the surroundings, enjoy the scenery, and have lunch in this beautiful natural setting.

Return to Huaraz: After enjoying Laguna Parón, you will begin the descent back to the starting point of the hike and return to Huaraz, usually arriving in the afternoon or evening.
